Heads or Tails

I’ve got a silver coin in my pocket,
It’s heavy with the weight of the world.
One side shines like gold,
One side’s black as a hole

Every spin is a prayer and a dare,
Every fall says what’s waiting there.

Heads or tails — which side will land?
Peace or War in my open hand.
One will build, one will tear apart,
Both are born in the human heart.

I feel the sharp edge close handy,
A circle sharp as a soldier’s blade.
One face smiles with the promise of mercy,
One face hides in the war it made.

Every choice is a shadow cast,
Every truth flips just as fast.

Heads or tails — which side will land?
Peace or War in my open hand.
One will build, one will tear apart,
Both are born in the human heart.

The coin is turning,
The world is burning.
One fall rolls into the flame,
One fall calls the gentle rain.

Heads or tails — which side will land?
Peace or War in my open hand
One will build, one will tear apart,
Both are born in the human heart…
Heads or tails — which side will land?

Heads or tails…
Which side will land?
